Before each generation, Askoraly estimates the cost and reserves the matching credits. After the generation, it reads the real usage returned by the API and reconciles: you are charged for what was actually used, never for an estimate.
The required balance is held for the duration of the generation, never debited in advance.
The final amount follows the number of tokens actually consumed. A short generation costs less.
If the model declines a request before producing anything, you are not charged at all.
